Freelancers, affiliates and white labels

affiliate white labelThanks to the World Wide Web freelancers and affiliates can earn an income whilst working from the comfort of their own homes. This lifestyle option is becoming more popular because it’s flexible and it’s convenient.

As an affiliate or freelancer, you are in control of your own time. As a freelancer, you just make sure you deliver what you’ve been asked to deliver. As an affiliate you can actually decide what projects to spend most of your time on based on how much money you estimate you can earn.

Whether you are a freelancer or an affiliate, you are probably interested in finding ways of making money online and the white label model should appeal to you.
If you are not familiar with the concept of ‘white label’, I’ll explain. The term ‘white label ‘is often used to describe a B2B service where you are able to offer someone else’s services/products under your own brand.

Why choose the white label model
1.    It doesn’t require huge investment.
2.    You can put your own skills to good use, in areas such as graphic design, marketing, programming, SEO, etc.
3.    Setup is usually free
4.    You can build and promote your own brand, not someone else’s.
5.    There’s no hassle; a good white label service will offer you all you need to get started.
6.    You generate commissions or benefit from a revenue share agreement

How does it work?
You sign up to a company’s white label dating program for free. Usually the company has a big user database, tracking technology and marketing tools. You build your white label on your own domain and the company shares all those tools with you. Patience, dedication and a bright mind will be useful if you want to see your white label grow. The company gives you what you need but you are in charge of promoting your service/product.
Becoming a white label affiliate is simple! First of all you need to choose the industry you want to work in. I can’t tell you about industries I don’t know about, but I can show you how to make some cash by building a white label dating site.

How do I get started?
1)    Get yourself a cup of tea and put some music on (I like last.fm, dunno about you)
2)    Buy a domain you can use to build your dating site on (I’d go for GoDaddy)
3)    Sign up to EasyDate’s white label program (here’s the link:  SIGN UP!). This is the program I use and it’s worked for me, the conversions are good, the revenue share is pretty high, you have an option to select a template or make your own and they give you a set of very useful marketing tools.
4)    Calculate your earnings based on the commissions offered to you to get a good idea of the money you could be making.
5)    Learn how to promote your online dating site.
6)    Start promoting and enjoy your earnings.

I got this from EasyDate and it’s pretty good at helping you learn the basics of online marketing. What are keywords? Where can you get them? What is PPC? And other MUST KNOW bits and pieces.

Well, these are interesting thoughts. I think they are true. However, everything is relative and ambiguous to my mind.
